Stuff that caught my eye

WPCandy

Current Version is 1.2

WPCandy Wordpress Plugin inserts a snippet of text (”a candy”) into a pre-defined location. It can insert more than one candy in the same location. Possible locations are:

  • between blog posts
  • before or after article title
  • before or after of article content
  • before or after of comment content
  • blog footer

For example you can a Google Adsense item between blog articles, or insert Google Analytics hook in the blog footer.. Tale a look at the advertising of my hosting company at the bottom of the page - it is inserted by a candy - and the hosting provider is great, check them out…

Installation

Place WPCandy-X.X.php into your wp-content/plugins folder and activate in the plugin activation page. Go to Options->WPCandy and add candys in your blog…

candy-bar.gif

Be careful, if you insert HTML formatted code in it. Make sure that markup is valid. For example - do not put any HTML formatted code in the headers of posts! Use plain text candies there.

If you want to use “Before Post” feature, you would need to insert a some code wp_candy_insert.gif in the main template. Take a look the the install instructions for details.

In standard Kubrick Main Index Template it should look like this

wp_candy_insert-2.gif
