Rapids in dry season

This is one of the rapids of Cordova falls. The water level is so low that I am taking this picture from the dried-up river bed. Normally this part of the fall looks like a rapid because it is under several feet of water.
Lake on the Mountain

This is an interesting lake. It is located 60 meters above Lake Ontario a top of a steep hill. There is no good explanation to how this lake is receiving its water because there is no water flowing into it on the surface, but there is outflow of water to lake Ontario.
