eyeOS is a “web based operating system”. It is a somewhat a misnomer because it is not really operating system. It is a php application that provides desktop metaphor for a web based content management system. However it is interesting to try. Playing with it I created a VMware image of eyeOS based on Puppy Linux distro. Puppy Linux has low footprint and it is very fast. This is why I chose it for this work.
